It’s an exciting time of year for an interior designer. It’s one of our favourite jobs. It’s never dull and never quite what you think it’s going to be. But, what is it, you may ask? The new seasons sampling of fabric and wallpaper collections are pouring into the office the last few weeks. It’s the one job that you never get tired of doing, opening all the new books.
To showcase just a few, I have chosen what has actually arrived in the office this last week. These books were chosen at a trade show in January therefore it’s great to see them again and get new samples to work with, everyone likes choosing from the latest up to datest.

The Crowson studios have been busy designing two beautiful and original print collections with complementary and versatile weaves included.

JAZZ

is a chic collection of woven geometric designs in fancy yarns, ideal for today’s urban, cool spaces. The colour palette includes hues of mocha, cream, chocolate, azure, red, plum and warm buttercup. This versatile collection is suitable for curtains, upholstery and accessories.

KIAMANA

An interesting collection, suitable for traditional or contemporary homes. Great also, for chic conservatories leading out into the garden. Elegant botanical designs create an indoor oasis with a fresh colour palette, spiced up with shots of raspberry, cassis, hyacinth and peppermint, through to chalky aqua blue, hazy peach and cream. Stylish and versatile woven checks and stripes complete the collection, giving a new twist to timeless theme.

BRUNSWICK

A stunning collection of woven chenilles, in four stylish designs – a luxurious damask, an intricate trail, a textured rib and a sumptuous plain. The dense chenille pile makes Brunswick both opulent and durable. This dazzling collection will be a real winner for a years to come.

Moving over to the SANDERSON stables- we have OPTIONS perhaps the most well known of all UK co-related collections, the eagerly awaited sequel to Options 8, is without doubt our most entrepreneurial, commercial and significant presentation to date. The complete collection of contemporary design styles and colour palettes is presented with imaginative, inspirational and practical interior schemes. The impressive collection consists of ten sensational themes across a variety of printed plain fabrics, wallpapers, upholstery weaves, silk draperies and decorative sheers.

Fancy Free in the collection is a must for those wishing to create that special interior. Whether used for haute couture drapes or contemporary window blinds it just proves that floral patterns are back to stay and that they can look very modern and stylish.
